PURPOSE: A shield and method for an exhaust device of a vehicle is provided to secure the mechanical strength by coping with the impact from an upper and lower part of an uneven thin sheet. CONSTITUTION: A shield for an exhaust device of a vehicle covers an upper part of the exhaust device to block heat and noise generated from the exhaust device. An uneven thin sheet of 0.2~0.4 mm is made of aluminum treated with embossing, an alloy and the uneven thin sheet is pressed with a mold. A first wave length(L) of 4~6mm and amplitude(H) of 0.8~1.2mm are formed side by side and top and bottom repetitively and the embossing is formed on the waveform. |
