PURPOSE: A compressor is provided to prevent input increase of compressor pressure by maintaining refrigerant discharge amount to prevent excessive compression of the refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: A compressor comprises a sealed container, a compressive unit, and a valve assembly. The compressive unit is installed in an internal space of the sealed container and forms a compressive space to compress refrigerant. An outlet(44) is formed to discharge the refrigerant, compressed in the compressive space, into the internal space of the sealed space. The valve assembly opens and closes the outlet of the compressive unit. The valve assembly comprises a valve plate, a valve member(110), and an elastic member(120). The valve plate comprises a valve mounting unit(441) communicating with the outlet. The valve member is installed in the valve mounting unit to open and close the outlet. The elastic member is fixed in the valve plate and elastically supports the valve member so that the valve member can be moved while contacting with the valve mounting unit. |
