PURPOSE: An air flap opening/closing device for a car is provided to prevent the overheat of an engine by being able to be opened by the wind generated during driving, and preventing a flap door from closed state even though an actuator is broken. CONSTITUTION: An air flap opening/closing device for a car, for dealing malfunction comprises an actuator(110), a flap door unit(120), a moving unit(130), an electromagnet unit(140), and a control unit. The actuator comprises a loader(111) rotating determined angle normally and reversely according the control signal. The flap door unit is installed to be opened or closed on the air flow flowed from the front of a vehicle to the cooling module. The moving unit connected with the flap door unit opens or closes the flap door unit. The electromagnet unit is installed in the position corresponding with a magnetic part(135) for keeping the flap door unit closed. The controller transmits control signal to the actuator and electromagnet unit.
