TRANSLATION OF DIRECTIONAL INPUT TO GESTURE

PURPOSE: A conversion system of a directionality input about a gesture is provided to capture user input of an electronic device. CONSTITUTION: A user interface includes a touch input unit and a user output unit. A user interface driver converts movement detected by the touch input unit into an electronic signal. An x-y input capture module(212) converts the electronic signal into x-y movement data. An x-y-to-gesture conversion module(216) converts the x-y movement data into the gesture data. A gesture-to-key code conversion module(220) converts the gesture data into key code data.
