PURPOSE: An AR(Augmented Reality) service providing system and method thereof are provided to output and display various content information in a terminal by supporting interlocking functions between terminals and AR playback apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A terminal apparatus(100) outputs content information according to content provided from an external apparatus. An AR content playback apparatus(200) provides AR services. AR content is outputted according to AR realization function through the AR services. An AR content playback apparatus provides specific content corresponding to the AR service to the terminal apparatus when the terminal is connected with the AR content playback apparatus in order to be interlocked with the AR service.
