A steering apparatus having a valve body welded on an input shaft is provided to reduce the time for assembly process by removing a process of pressing a pin in one end of a pinion shaft and a process of forming a groove on one end of the valve body. A steering apparatus having a valve body welded on an input shaft comprises a pinion shaft whose one side has a pinion gear(120), an input shaft(110) coupled to a steering shaft and transmitting the torque of the steering wheel, a valve body wrapping the outer periphery of the input shaft, and a welding assembly part(320). The welding assembly part is formed between the inner periphery of the valve body and the outer periphery of the pinion shaft to integrate the valve body with the pinion shaft.
