PURPOSE: An insert nut of a rectangular lattice structure type and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to make a melting portion sufficiently be inserted and welded into between rectangular lattices of an insert nut by reducing an angle between the rectangular lattice of the insert nut forging-processed from a rolled mold protrusion into 50 degree. CONSTITUTION: An insert nut of a rectangular lattice structure type comprises a flange and nut body(303). A serration(305) is formed in the nut body. A rectangular lattice form is formed by rolling through forming the serration into a slash by rolling by rolling molds(311,312). A lattice lateral line, a lateral side of the rectangular, is formed by the serration. A lattice top line, a top of the rectangular, is tilt at 15 to 30 degree from the perpendicularity of the lattice lateral line. The lattice top line forms a curve having a curvature R. Angle between the rectangular lattices is formed at 40 to 50 degree.
