<p>Processing data received from at least one input device to a computer, such as a touch screen, to determine if received data is associated with a location-aware event, i.e. associated with a coordinate on a display. Data associated with location-aware events is forwarded to an application; data associated with events which are not location-aware is forwarded to the operating system. On receipt of input data at the application it is determined if the event is coincident with the location of a displayed window associated with the application whereupon the data is processed by the application. If the event is not coincident with the application window the data is transmitted to the operating system to be processed.</p> |
