The balloon catheter has outer shaft (4), inner shaft (6) and pressurized fluid balloon (7) that is provided at distal catheter end. The pressurized fluid balloon is seated on outer shank. A displaceable cover sleeve (15) is made to pass through the pressurized fluid balloon. The outer shaft is proximally displaced through front opening (17).
