<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display capable of improving operability by emphasizing only an icon of a selectable input signal on an input signal selection screen. <P>SOLUTION: A display includes: a plurality of input terminals 20-1, 20-2, 20-3 of HDMI standards; a detection section 34 for detecting signal potentials of pins of the plurality of input terminals; a generation section 30-1 for selecting an input signal on the basis of a result of the detection to generate the input signal selection screen (Fig.8, Fig.9 (not shown)) on which an icon which makes the input signal be different from other input signals is displayed as an option; and a processing section 18' which selects an input signal corresponding to the icon selected on the input signal selection screen from among a plurality of input signals from the plurality of input signals, and applying prescribed signal processing to the selected input signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
