Hydraulic control valve with a pilot control piston in its hollow control slide

The control valve has a hollow control slide element (17) displaced relative to a pilot piston (20), whose wall comprises a window (25) in a region attached to a specific port. A piston collar (22) of pilot piston includes two outer control edges (23). The pilot piston comprises axial ends which are inserted into valve housing (10). A housing side pressure chamber (30) is arranged between control slide element and thrust washer (26), so as to form a constant outflow path for hydraulic fluid passed in annular space (21) between control slide element and pilot piston.
