PURPOSE: A hair composition containing butyl glycerin ether is provided to ensure soft and smooth texture of hair and resistance against microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: A hair composition contains butyl glycerin ether of chemical formula 1. The butyl glycerin ether has moisturizing and antibacterial effect. The hair composition contains 1-30 wt% of surfactant, 1-10 wt% of moisturizing agent, 1-10 wt5 of higher fatty alcohol, 1-10 wt% of oil, and remaining amount of water. The surfactant is non-ionic surfactant, cationic surfactant, anionic surfactant, positive surfactant, or mixture thereof. The hair composition is manufactured in the form of a shampoo, hair conditioner, hair treatment, hair tonic, hair cream, hair spray, or hair mousse. |
