<p>The invention is relates to rendering the speed limit data onto a vehicle speedometer. Speed limit data is received and a symbol which looks like a speed limit sign is placed near the graduated speedometer scale adjacent to the appropriate speed marking. Also disclosed is method of receiving traffic sign data and displaying a symbol which looks like the traffic sign within an area demarcated by the graduated scale of the speedometer.</p> |
