PURPOSE: An automatic cutting and separating apparatus and method for die-cast materials are provided to automatically cut scrap from die-cast materials and separately collect the scrap and products. CONSTITUTION: An automatic cutting and separating apparatus for die-cast materials comprises a transfer unit, a cutting die(20), a base(30), first and second inclined rails(40,60), first and second collecting units(51,52), and a driving unit(80). The transfer unit transfers cast materials to the cutting die. The cutting die is installed on the base and cuts and separates scrap and products from the transferred cast materials. The first inclined rail moves scrap and products cut by the cutting die downward. The first collecting unit collects the scrap falling along the first inclined rail. The second inclined rail changes the direction of the products moving along the first inclined rail. The second collecting unit collects the products falling along the second inclined rail. The driving unit drives the second inclined rail.
