PURPOSE: A virtual sound generating system for a vehicle is provided to offer driving sound having no aversion by controlling sound transmission amount by direction according to driving condition. CONSTITUTION: A virtual sound generator(12) generates car external sound or driving sound based on a determination control factor. A speaker(10) is installed within an engine room of a vehicle and outputs the car external sound or the driving sound. A multiple acoustics duct is extended within the engine room with the speaker as the center. A valve is installed within the multiple acoustics duct. A valve control part(16) controls opening and shutting of the valve based on the determination control factor.
