PURPOSE: A packet service system for providing a conference call service, additional service control unit, and method thereof are provided to enable a user to receive a packet service system by providing a conference call service as an additional service in a VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) call service. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia resource control unit(160) releases and connects a media session for a conference call for plural terminals(400). An additional service control unit(110) releases and connects the multimedia resource control unit through a message related to a conference call termination and participants invitation. A session control unit(120) transmits the message to the multimedia resource control unit, the additional service control unit, and the terminals.
