An optical disc apparatus, for executing recording or reproducing onto/from a multilayered optical disc having “N” pieces of recording layers (N≧3, “N” is an integer), from a first layer to a Nth layer, including a light emitting portion configured to emit a laser beam, a light receiving portion, a correcting portion configured to correct a tilt of the optical disc or an aberration of the laser beam, an adjusting portion, a detecting portion, and a selecting portion configured to select “A” pieces of recording layers (A<N, and “A” is an integer) depending on the layer structure of the optical disc. The adjusting portion obtains the correction volumes on the “A” pieces of recording layers, which are selected by the selecting portion. |
