ZN-PLATED STEEL SHEET FOR HOT PRESS FORMING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A galvanized sheet for a hot press and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the deterioration of a zinc plated layer during the heating of a hot press by forming Al2O3 or SiO2 oxide that serves as a protective layer on the zinc plated layer. CONSTITUTION: A galvanized sheet for hot press comprises a steel substrate, a zinc plated layer formed on the steel substrate, and a Si or FeSi metal powder layer which is formed on the zinc plated layer to exist discontinuously. The average thickness of the metal powder layer is 0.1-3.0μm and the metal powder layer contains Si less than 30-100 weight%.
