PURPOSE: An impact energy absorbing device of a vehicle having multiple absorbing stages is provided to minimize injury to passengers by absorbing the energy of an impact in a stepwise manner. CONSTITUTION: An impact energy absorbing device of a vehicle having multiple absorbing stages comprises a first fixing element(140) and first and second deformable parts(110,120). One end of the first deformable part is coupled with the first fixing element. The first deformable part is plastically deformed by an impact first in order to absorb the impact energy. The second deformable part is arranged inside the first deformable part, and one end of the second deformable part is coupled with the first fixing element. The second deformable part is formed into a tube shorter than the first deformable part. The second deformable part is plastically deformed by a second impact after the first deformation of the first deformable part so as to consecutively absorb the impact energy.
