PURPOSE: A method for fixing a seat plate of a chair and an apparatus thereof are provided to enable a user to conveniently separate a seat plate from a frame without the separation of a bracket. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for fixing a seat plate of a chair comprises a fixture(1) and a rotator(8). The fixture is fixed to the inside of both frames and forms a circular connecting part(5) having opened top in the center thereof. In the upper part of the connecting part, an insertion part(3) having a slope guide part(4) is formed. The shaft(2) of a seat plate is slid-inserted into the insertion part. The rotator forms protrusions at a constant interval on the outside thereof.
