CORRECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DEFORMATION IN HOBBING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A displacement correction apparatus of a hobbing machine and a method thereof are provided to improve machined accuracy of gears because dimension of machined gears is continuously measured while machining the gears and correction value is applied depending on change of the machined dimension of the gears. CONSTITUTION: A displacement correction apparatus of a hobbing machine(1) is as follows. Correction values are initialized. The correction values are converted when initially operating a hobbing machine. The converted correction values are applied to machining of gears. Thermal displacement of the hobbing machine is measured. The measured thermal displacement of the hobbing machine is compared with the initial correction value and difference is converted. The correction value is updated depending on the converted difference.
