PURPOSE: A rubber composition for tire tread is provided to improve abrasion resistance, braking ability and control stability while not degrading durability and processability. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for tire tread includes 100 parts by weight of a base rubber, and 52-60 parts by weight of carbon black in which nitrogen adsorption specific area is 125-130 m^2/g, iodine adsorption amount of 120-125 mg/g, DBP oil absorption amount is 130-135 cc/100g, and tint value is 122-125. The base rubber comprises: 30-50 parts by weight of a natural rubber; 20-40 parts by weight of high cis-butadiene rubber in which the content of cis 1,4-butadiene is 97 weight% or greater and average molecular weight is 7.0×10^5 - 7.5×10^5 g/mol; and 20-40 parts by weight of a styrene butadiene rubber in which the styrene content is 22-25 weight%, the vinyl content including butadiene is 15-17 weight%, and the glass transition temperature is (-50)-(-55)°C.
