METHOD AND APPARATUS OF CODEWORD FEEDBACK AND USER SELECTION FOR MULTI-USER MIMO SYSTEMS USING CODEBOOK-BASED PRECODING

PURPOSE: A code word feedback apparatus for an MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) system and method thereof are provided to receive the feedback of CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) information by considering of the coherence time of a current channel in a user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A feedback information selection unit(1000) selects code words including upper data capacity as candidate codeword numbers from all code words within a codebook. A feedback execution unit(1100) gives feedback as CQI information for one code word of the selected candidate code words. The feedback execution unit gives the feedback as the CQI information for the selected code words during the coherence time of a channel.
