PURPOSE: A composition containing chlorella is provided to suppress blood oxidation and to prevent liver from damage due to excessive intake of alcohol. CONSTITUTION: A composition for improving liver function or relieving hangover contains chlorella extract and herb extract of pine needles, mulberry leaves, barley buds, pumpkin, Corni Fructus, dandelion or Houttuynia cordata as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using water or organic solvent. The composition reduces carbon dioxide, pH concentration, and lactic acid in blood.
