The device has two rollers (2) for rotating around a rolling stock longitudinal axis (3). Roll axes (4) of the rollers extend under an inclination angle inclined to the longitudinal axis. A drive wheel is engaged with a ring gear over a bevel gear tooth system. A central axis of the wheel runs in a plane in which the longitudinal axis lies. A shaft carrying the rollers is supported at the central axis of the wheel such that the central axis runs in a plane that extends in or opposite to the longitudinal axis regarding to radial distance (E) parallel to the longitudinal axis.
