PURPOSE: A user location based planimetric features information providing method and system thereof are provided to offer planimetric features information to a user by searching the planimetric features information in a selected administrative district. CONSTITUTION: A planimetric features information providing server selects one or more administrative districts corresponding to the location information of a user(S710). A server determines first candidate planimetric feature information from the planimetric information stored in the selected administrative districts(S730). The server determines second candidate planimetric feature information from the first candidate planimetric information(S740). The server establishes the order of the second candidate planimetric features information(S750). The server provides the second candidate planimetric features information to the user(S760).
