PURPOSE: A free bender is provided to automate the transfer and bending of a steel strip to form a series of processes with the following main bending and to easily deal with the width variation of the steel strip. CONSTITUTION: A free bender comprises a bed, a guide platform, a pair of bender frames(300), an upper mold platform(400), an upper mold, a moving block(600), a lower mold platform(700), a lower mold, and a push-pull unit. A guide rail is formed on both right and left ends of the upper side of the moving block. The lower side of the moving block is connected to a main cylinder so that the moving block is moved up and down. The lower mold platform is located on the top of the moving block and moved along the guide rail. The lower mold is coupled to the upper mold platform and formed with a lower molding part on the top thereof. The push-pull unit is formed on the rear surface of the low mold platform and moves the lower mold platform back and forth. |
