HEADER AND HEAT EXCHANGER HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A header unit and a heat exchanger having the same are provided to increase heat exchange efficiency and to obtain operational reliability of a heat exchanger and rigidity against refrigerant gas pressure by enhancing refrigerant distribution. CONSTITUTION: A header unit comprises a body(50) and a cover(60). The body supports both outer and inner sides of the cover together. The body comprises a base part and a mounting groove. The mounting groove is formed in the base part. The cover comprises a supporting part and side walls. The side walls are formed in the supporting part. At least a part of the side walls of the cover is inserted in the mounting groove of the body.
