PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for authenticating an application program are provided to prevent data leakage or data falsification by a malicious code or site fishing by authenticating an application program running in a user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A generating unit generates an authentication parameter for an application. A communication unit transmits the authentication parameter to a user terminal(110). The communication unit receives authentication information corresponding to the authentication parameter from the user terminal. An authentication unit authenticates the application by using the authentication information. The authentication unit generates an authentication result. An authentication server(120) controls the execution of the application according to the authentication result.
