PURPOSE: A surface acoustic wave sensor sensing radiation is provided to obtain an excellent portability and convenience and to continuously use because recycling is possible. CONSTITUTION: A surface acoustic wave sensor sensing radiation comprises a substrate(10), a coating thin film(20), a pair of reference signal detecting IDTs(30,35), and a pair of radiation sensing signal detecting IDTs(40,50). The coating thin film vacuum-metallized on the substrate is made of piezoelectric materials. The pair of reference signal detecting IDTs is formed on the coating thin film and the pair of radiation sensing signal detecting IDTs is formed on the thin film in a parallel with the pair of reference signal detecting IDTs. A detecting material(43) in which properties are changed by a radiation exposure between the pair of radiation sensing signal detecting IDTs.
