PURPOSE: A solid cosmetic composition for UV protection and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to enhance product stability and UV protection effect. CONSTITUTION: A solid cosmetic composition for UV protection contains: 5-15 weight% of organic UV protector; 10-76 weight% of inorganic UV protector containing manganese-coated or silicon-coated inorganic UV protector; 5-10 weight% of wax ingredient, 5-20 weight% of oil ingredient, 8-35 weight% of pigment, 0.5-5 weight% of organic solvent and 0.5-5 weight% of additive. The oil ingredient is hexyllaurate, cyclomethicone or dimethicone. The pigment ingredient is iron oxide, alumina, talc, mica, silica, titanium dioxide or polyethylene powder. The organic solvent is glycerin, propylene glycol or dipropylene.
