PURPOSE: A foreign language learning system by using global positioning information is provided to improve memory power and the learning capability of a user by memorizing and reminding a foreign language word, phrase, or sentence. CONSTITUTION: A foreign language learning system(100) comprises a global positioning system(110), an input unit(120), a storage unit(130), a providing unit(140), and a control unit(150). The global positioning system receives the location information of a user. The input unit receives a word, phrase, or sentence related to a foreign language from the user corresponding to places, things, other people related to the location information of the user. The storage unit stores an inputted word, phrase, or sentence related to the foreign language. The providing unit visually, aurally, or tactically provides the word, phrase, or sentence related to the foreign language stored in the storage unit to the user. The providing unit controls the supplying of a saved word, phrase, or sentence related to the foreign language to the user if the location information of the user is matched with the location information of the global positioning system corresponding to the word, phrase, or sentence related to the foreign language stored in the storage unit.
