PURPOSE: A device for removing the remaining water from a hot rolled coil is provided to maintain uniform cooling speed for a hot rolled coil by sucking and discharging the water remaining on the hot rolled coil. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing the remaining water from a hot rolled coil comprises a guide unit(20), a suction pipe(30), and a pump unit(40). The guide unit, which comprises a wheel member(21) supporting the lower side of the suction pipe and a guide body(22), moves along the surface of a hot rolled coil. The suction pipe is installed to be supported on the guide unit and has an internal channel for transfer of remaining water. The pump unit is connected to the suction pipe to suck and discharge the remaining water to the outside of the hot rolled coil.
