STABILIZED ZIRCONIA WITH BLACK COLOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: A black stabilized zirconia and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve mechanical property and lower brightness. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a black stabilized zirconia comprises next steps: preparing of oxide stabilized zirconia powder containing 1-12 mole% of oxide; molding the oxide stabilized zirconia powder into desired shape; sintering the molded product at target sintering temperature which is lower than melting temperature of the zirconia (ZrO2); placing the sintered body and carbon based powder into a crucible and charging the crucible into a furnace; exhausting impure gas which is existed within the furnace; increasing the temperature of the furnace to target temperature by heat-treating and heat-treating to cover with black color; and obtaining the black stabilized zirconia by cooling the furnace.
