PURPOSE: A power controlling method of a digital video recorder and a method thereof are provided to block power source of the other recording medium in case recording medium is recorded. CONSTITUTION: In case a DVR(Digital Video Recorder) records nth recording medium, the DVR blocks the power of the other recording medium(S11,S12). The DVR performs recording operation of (n+1)th recording medium(S15). The DVR blocks power which is applied to the other recording medium and nth recording medium(S16). |
