摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A 400Hv grade heat-treated rail alloy and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to produce a high-hardness heat treated rail through natural cooling after rolling without additional heat treating equipment. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a 400Hv grade heat-treated rail alloy comprises the steps of: heating a rail material(310), rolling the heated rail material(320), and naturally cooling the rolled rail material(330). The rail material comprises carbon of 0.79-0.82 weight%, silicon of 0.2-0.4 weight%, manganese of 1.45-1.55 weight%, phosphorus of 0.02 weight% or less, sulfur of 0.02 weight% or less, copper of 0.12-0.10 weight%, nickel of 0.25 weight% or less, chrome of 0.3 weight% or less, molybdenum of 0.06-0.04 weight%, vanadium of 0.06-0.04 weight%, aluminum of 0.01 weight% or less, nitrogen of 0.008 weight% or less, oxygen of 0.002 weight% or less, and iron and inevitable impurities of the remaining amount.</p>
