PURPOSE: A shift resister and a display apparatus using the same are provided to output various shapes of scan pulses by additionally including output buffers or sub stages. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of stages receives a plurality of gate shift clocks. The plurality of stages successively outputs a scan pulse. Each stage comprises a first sub stage(10A) and a second sub stage(10B). The first sub stage generates a carrying signal by being synchronized to a first clock signal. The second sub stage generates a scan pulse. The scan pulse is delayed for a first horizontal period compared to a carrying signal. |
