PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for treating bad odor materials from granulated slag equipment are provided to successively pass gas generated from a granulated slag manufacturing process through a first extracting column and a second extracting column and to induce neutralization by supplying naturalizing material aqueous solution of different concentrations to respective extracting columns. CONSTITUTION: Gas generated from granulated slag equipment and neutralizing materials are supplied to a first extracting column(20) to neutralize hydrogen sulfide contained in the gas to be eliminated. Hydrogen sulfide eliminated gas is supplied to a second extracting column(30), and neutralizing materials are further supplied to the second extracting column. Mercaptos and sulfur dioxide contained in the gas are neutralized and eliminated. The mercaptos and sulfur dioxide eliminated gas is discharged.
