PURPOSE: A sealing inspection device and a sealing inspection method of a flat panel display device using the same are provided to detect an abnormal junction state of a sealing region by analyzing reflectivity of light reflected from the sealing region. CONSTITUTION: Light is emitted from a light source(110). The emitted light is polarized through a polarizing plate(120). The polarized light is reflected to a sealing region. The reflectivity of the reflected light is analyzed for each wavelength range. An abnormal junction state of the sealing region is detected.
