INTEGRATED COUPLED TORSION BEAM AXLE MADE BY HYDROFORMING AND IT'S MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: An all-in-one coupled torsion beam axle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the durability of products by optimizing the minimum lifetime and lightening a torsion beam and a trailing arm. CONSTITUTION: An all-in-one coupled torsion beam axle comprises a torsion beam(100) and trailing arms(200,200'). The torsion beam is formed into one body by using a hydroforming method. And the torsion beam on the lower part of a car body is installed in the horizontal direction in order to prevent the twisting of the car body. The trailing arms are coupled to both sides of the torsion beam and reduce the partial wear of a wheel. The trailing arms are composed of extension trailing arms(110,110') which are bent in the end part of the torsion beam.
