PURPOSE: An ordering system in a restaurant and method thereof are provided to improve the convenience of a user by enabling the user to order menus items using a QR(Quick Response) code attached to a table. CONSTITUTION: QR codes(10) are respectively attached on tables installed in a restaurant. The QR codes include the table and restaurant information. A smart phone(20) accesses a mobile web site to enable a user to scan the QR codes. A server(30) transmits and receives data by connecting with POS(Point Of Sale) apparatuses(40) in each restaurant. The POS apparatuses are connected to the server and transmit table conditions in real time. |
