PURPOSE: A portable terminal and multi-key control method are provided to enable a user to accurately control mouse functions by providing a pointer function by recognizing touch signals of a touch pad unit. CONSTITUTION: A key module unit(200) creates electronic signals by enabling a user to push a button. A display unit(300) displays a screen for controlling a touch pad unit and the key module unit. An execution unit executes functions by using touch signals created by the touch pad unit or the electronic signals created by the key module unit. A control unit controls the execution unit which executes the functions. The control unit controls the display unit in order to display the executed functions.
