PURPOSE: A loess brick and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve strength, preventing crack generation, and maximizing effects of the loess by including calcium carbonate, calcium oxide, and ceramic. CONSTITUTION: A loess brick comprises 85-90 weight% of loess brick, 4-6 weight% of calcium carbonate, 2-4 weight% of quicklime, 2-4 weight% of ceramics, 1-2 weight% of natural salt. In the loess brick, a plurality of penetrating holes(10) is formed in a vertical direction. A manufacturing method of the loess brick comprises next steps: obtaining the loess powder by pulverizing and assorting the loess; stirring 85-90 weight% of loess powder, 4-6 weight% of calcium carbonate, 2-4 weight% of quicklime, 2-4 weight% of ceramics, 1-2 weight% of natural salt in order to manufacture a mixture; manufacturing a mixture by stirring the mixture with water; manufacturing desired shape of bricks by compressing the paste mixture with a molder; and wanting of form is made; aging the brick at 40-50 deg. Celsius for 10-15 hours; and natural drying the matured brick.
