PURPOSE: A portable air purifying apparatus for local areas is provided to improve working efficiency by conveniently replacing the shape and the size of an inlet. CONSTITUTION: A portable air purifying apparatus for local areas includes a main body(10), a rotating arm(20), an inlet(30), a blowing fan(40), a filter assembly(50). An outlet is formed at one side of the main body. The rotating arm is rotatably installed at one side of the main body. Toxic materials are guided to the main body by the rotating arm. The inlet is detachably installed at end part of the rotating arm. The toxic materials are sucked through the inlet. The blowing fan discharges the sucked toxic materials to the outlet of the main body. The filter assembly is installed between the blowing fan and the outlet and purifies the toxic materials discharged by the blowing fan.
