<p>The processor for electronic endoscopes has a first and second image storage means, a motion-detecting means that determines the difference values of the image data, and a control means. The control means performs control using one of: a first mode of converting the image data into and sequentially storing a sequential video signal together with the difference values in the first and second image storage means; a second mode of outputting the image data stored in the first image storage means while sequentially storing generated image data along with the difference values in the second image storage means; and a third mode of outputting image data stored in the second image storage means while sequentially storing generated image data along with the difference values in the first image storage means. In the second and third modes, on the basis of the difference values, the control means switches from a first playback mode of outputting the data for images continuously to a second playback mode of outputting the data for a single image repeatedly.</p> |
