<p>The present invention is directed to a system for picking and packing products having a first electronic tag associated with a picker, a second electronic tag which identifies a field, and a third electronic tag associated with a field container containing picked products. The third electronic tag records picking data from the first electronic tag and the second electronic tag. An electronic reader is adapted to read the picking data encoded on the third electronic tag, packed product data and data from a fourth electronic tag associated with a product packer. The packed product data and the data from the fourth electronic tag form the packing data which is recorded in a processor terminal. There is a central processor to store and process the picking data and the packing data from the processor terminal whereby each packed product is trackable with a recorded history.</p> |
