Provided are first eyelet holes wherethrough pass shoelaces (3) aligned in two columns in line with notches, and a sub-upper which is further provided with a forward extending portion (2f). Eyelet portions (24) whereupon are formed second eyelet holes are disposed upon the forward extending portion (2f). The tightening force from the portions of the shoelaces (3) that are near the second eyelet holes draws the eyelet portions (24) toward the center of the foot and the eyelet portions (24) engage the main upper (1) at the through holes and bend, whereby the direction of the tightening force is changed so as to draw forward the top portion (2u) including the forward extending portion (2f), the tightening force from the portions of the shoelaces (3) that are near the subset of the first eyelet holes that are further back than the second eyelet holes draws the main upper (1) toward the center of the foot, the tightening force from the portion of the forward extending portion (2f) that is covered by the main upper (1) pushes upon the upper side surface of the foot, and the upper part of the sub-upper (2) fits upon the upper side surface of the foot. |
