摘要 A thrust bearing (1) disposed so as to face a thrust collar provided on a rotating shaft. Grooves (5) are formed in the bearing surface (4b). The grooves (5) at least have: a first groove group (6A) comprising first spiral grooves (6) which are formed on the inner peripheral side of the bearing surface (4b); and a second groove group (7A) comprising second spiral grooves (7) which are formed further toward the outer peripheral side than the first groove group (6A) and which spiral in the same direction as the first spiral grooves (6). Out of both the side of the bearing surface which is located further toward the inner peripheral side than the first groove group (6A) and the side of the bearing surface which is located further toward the outer peripheral side than the second groove group (7A), the side to which fluid is led is provided with an annular land section (8). Each of some of the first spiral grooves (6) of the first groove group (6A) and each of some of the second spiral grooves (7) of the second groove group (7A) continue through a partial connection section (11) at which either the first spiral groove (6) or the second spiral groove (7) are connected to the other at a part of the first spiral groove (6) or at a part of the second spiral groove (7).
