The present invention relates to a screen golf system having a state transition function using a optical sensor and a method thereof, wherein a club of a player is sensed through a non-emissive optical sensor including three rows of horizontal sensors in a screen golf system so as to shift the swing direction left or right, or to perform a club change to either a putter or wedge with respect to the club to be used in the fringe. A screen golf system having a state transition function according to the present invention comprises: a first row sensor unit which includes a first light-emitting unit and a first light-receiving unit; a second row sensor unit which includes a second light-emitting unit and a second light-receiving unit; a third row sensor unit which includes a third light-emitting unit and a third light-receiving unit; and a control device which is electrically connected with the first row sensor unit, the second row sensor unit, and the third row sensor unit, and performs a control to shift the direction of the swing left or right, or to change the type of a club to either a putter or wedge when the club is sensed over a predetermined period of time through the first row sensor unit or the third row sensor unit with respect to the second row sensor unit. |
