PURPOSE: A multilayer ceramic capacitor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain the high capacity of a capacitor by regularly forming the distance from an end portion of an inner electrode to first and second sides of a ceramic body. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic body includes first and second sides(1, 2) and third and fourth sides connecting the first and second sides. An inner electrode is formed in the ceramic body and one end is exposed to a third side or a fourth side. An outer electrode is formed in the third side or the fourth side and electrically connected to the inner electrode. First and second side parts(113, 114) form the distance to the first and second sides of the ceramic body. The distance from the end portion of the inner electrode to the first or the second side is formed to be less than 30um.
